St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Valparaiso is hosting a men's ministry Texas-style BBQ with Coach Homer Drew, "MR VALPO." Drew is the Valparaiso University basketball coach who ranked 6th in the nation among active coaches. He retired with 640 victories. Drew co-authored the book Finding a Way, has appeared in Sports Illustrated and has been a guest sports commentator on CBS, ESPN and FOX. His topic for the evening is "Being a Christian Man in a Competitive World."
The event is Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Andrew's campus at 505 Bulls Eye Lake Road, Valparaiso, IN. This free event is open for men and features authentic Texas BBQ.
