Building on the success of last summer's inaugural event, the 2nd Annual Six Strings Music Fest offers a stellar lineup featuring Chicago blues guitar stalwart Joanna Connor plus well-traveled blues vets Howard and the White Boys; Valpo's own blues/rock heroes, Head Honchos; Blues Project, and the Six Strings students, taking place Saturday, July 17 at Central Park Plaza, 70 Lafayette St. (on the Porter Health Amphitheater Stage) in Valparaiso.    In addition to non-stop music, there will be food, bar, vendors, and raffles at the 100% family-friendly event.  As with last year, Six Strings Music Fest also features opportunities to win a month's worth of music lessons with Six Strings, and students can enter to win a free guitar. Presenter and Event Organizer is Rocco Calipari Jr., who also owns Six Strings Guitar and Bass Lessons in Valparaiso, and plays guitar in Head Honchos with his dad, guitarist/vocalist Rocco Calipari Sr.
