Hammond Volunteer Tree Planting

Event Information

Please join the Student Conservation Association (SCA) in planting 25 native trees in Hammond on Saturday, October 19th!
Planting will take place throughout Gibson Park/ Lost Park!

WHEN: Saturday, October 19th, 9:00 am to Noon. Registration beginning at 8:30 am, kick-off at 9:00 am.

WHAT: Volunteers will plant, mulch, and water native trees.

BRING WITH YOU: Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated.

PROVIDED: All project supplies (tools, gloves, etc.) are provided. Drinking water and coffee will be available throughout the event.
