Henry Dickhoff presents a lecture recital showcasing the life and select compositions by the late jazz pianist Cedar Walton. The program will include an analysis of Walton’s contributions to the expansion of hard bop music beginning in the early 1960s.
Admission is free. Donations to the music scholarship fund is appreciated.
