A Rosie Place for Children, a leading provider of specialized respite care for medically fragile children, proudly announces the groundbreaking ceremony of its newest initiative, HeARTworks Studio on Saturday, December 14th at 1:00pm on the back lawn of A Rosie Place for Children. The celebration will be outdoors, so bundle up and dress for the weather as we come together to mark this exciting new chapter.
HeARTworks Studio is more than a project—it’s a revolution in creativity and inclusivity. Here, we’re designing a space where children can not only create but also discover, explore, and experience art in ways never imagined. Here, we are coloring outside the lines and creating a space specifically for a medically fragile child's unique abilities. It will offer an interactive environment where art is created without limitations and uses the environment as an advantage instead of a disadvantage. Children will have the opportunity to explore a diverse range of activities and programs, from traditional art mediums to AI art, interactive Sky Screens, multi-sensory environments, and mobile surfaces, under the guidance of our dedicated staff.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our community, we’ve raised over $1 million of our $1.6 million goal, allowing us to start construction and make the dream of HeARTworks Studio a reality! Join us for this historic moment as we break ground on a transformative space where medically fragile children will unlock creativity, connection, and endless possibilities through the power of art. This milestone is more than just the start of construction—it’s the start of something truly extraordinary for our kids and community.
