The City of La Porte Park and Recreation Department is taking registrations for a new Intro to Sewing class which will be held on Saturday, June 25, from 9 a.m.-noon at 1640 First Street. The registration fee for the class is $25.
Join the Steady Stitchers, a Purdue Extension Homemakers Club, for a three-hour class learning the basics of your sewing machine (some are available to use) to create a pillowcase. Your sewing journey will start off on the right foot with this class. You will learn how to thread your machine,
how to wind and set a bobbin and other sewing fundamentals. As a bonus, you will make a pillowcase to show off your new skills!
