Ivy Tech Community College recently announced completion on new mobile learning unit designed to help area students not only explore academic programs, and skilled trade careers but also to think. The new Learning Lab + is designed to feature dynamic, interactive classroom space for students across Northwest Indiana to learn concepts in the comfort of their communities.
The Learning Lab + will be formally unveiled at new ribbon cutting ceremony set to take place April 17th at 1pm CT on the Ivy Tech Community College Campus located at 3100 Ivy Tech Drive, Valparaiso, IN. Event is free of charge and open to public. Light refreshments will be served. Space is limited. First come, first serve.
“Our learning lab space is nothing short of an amazing new venture for Ivy Tech Community College. At the college we are 100% committed to meeting students where they are at. Our new mobile unit does just that. This custom mobile classroom space has been intentionally built to deliver higher education at the speed of life for students across the region,” said Campus Chancellor, Aco Sikoski.
Classes and courses offered in the space will vary throughout the academic school year. The Learning Lab + development began in partnership with Ivy Tech Community College and Center for Workforce Innovations, a leading multi-management nonprofit workforce development organization located regionally in Northwest Indiana.
