The Starke County Economic Development Foundation (SCEDF) and the City of Knox are hosting a groundbreaking ceremony for the newest tenant in the Knox Industrial Park Monday, May 8.
Wakal Machining, LLC, will be located at 205 Kloeckner Drive. The facility will feature equipment and supplies for machining, which is a process where parts are cut, fabricated and finished to prepare them for use. The machining shop will be used in the creation of new parts, as well as repairs of existing equipment and parts for many local and regional clients.
The groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 205 Kloeckner Drive in Knox at 3:30 p.m. CT. Officials from SCEDF, the City of Knox and the Wakal family will offer brief remarks. Light refreshments will be served after the ceremony.
