Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the City of Hammond are excited to announce the return of the city-wide fireworks show.
Building upon last year’s success, the mayor has expanded the event to include launch sites in each of the city’s six districts.
Residents are encouraged to stay in their neighborhoods to view, but suggested viewing sites include The Pav parking lots, Turner, Columbia, MLK, Edison, Phrommer, and Hessville Parks, and the Purdue Northwest parking lot on the north side of 173rd Street.
This year’s show begins at 9:30pm on Sunday, July 4th.
Personal fireworks are prohibited in these viewing locations.
