The Valparaiso Family YMCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to you! Our Y provides programs and services that focus on developing the potential of kids, improving individual health and well-being and giving back and supporting our neighbors.

Our organization has deep roots in the community which was founded on the Valparaiso University campus over 120 years ago. Generations of children have learned to swim, participated in youth sports, and attended summer camp at the Y. Discover a place, where today, over 16,000 area residents stay fit, connected to others and focused on their health.

We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
