The East Chicago Cardinals took on the Valparaiso Viking in a Varsity boys basketball match-up. Both teams struggled in the first quarter to get points on the board. Neither team got passed 10 points in the first. After that Cardinals ran away with the score. In the end they won with a final score of 65 to 41. Number 23 Dominique Murphy of EC scored 19 points tonight.
