BOYS BASKETBALL Valparaiso VS. Portage 2025

The Portage Indians put on a show Friday night, visiting Valparaiso and defeating the Vikings 54-30 in a boys basketball match-up.

O’Mari Evans led Portage in scoring with a 12 point effort, backed by Sam Wellman’s six rebounds and Garrett Clark’s four assists.

The win moves Portage’s record to 9-3 on the season, and the team will look to continue its momentum tomorrow, 1/11, against the East Chicago Central Cardinals. The Vikings record falls to 4-8, and are set to visit the Penn Kingsmen tomorrow evening.
