“Our expectations were high. Our kids haven’t beaten Calumet since 2018 so this was a big game for us. We thought that they had some really good talents and players…we told our kids they needed to execute. Obviously they got off to a great fast start and beat us on a quick slant and you know we could be in for a barn burner. Our kids buckled down, got it done, and played very well at the end so we’re really proud of them for that.” Phil Mason-Griffith HS head football coach.
Tonight was also homecoming night for Griffith HS as the cheer and dance squads and the band performed during halftime. The 2024 homecoming court was also announced. A big congratulations to Terrelle Boone and Emily DeYoung as they were crowned 2024 Griffith High School Homecoming King and Queen!
