The Chesterton Trojans fended off a late comeback by the Merrillville Pirates in Friday’s Sectional Semi-final, securing a 58-54 win and advancing to Saturday’s championship game.

The Trojans were led by a 23 point game by junior point guard Kenedi Bradley.

The win takes the Chesterton’s record to 15-8 on the season, while the Pirates conclude the year at 15-7.
