The 3A defending state champs took on Kankakee Valley tonight in the Regional Championship game. The game was delayed twice for lightning this evening. The New Prairie Cougars came out strong and put 8 runs on the board to win the game. Number 44 Makayla Willoughby had a home-run. Number 54 Emma Luther had a two run home-run. The Final score was New Prairie 8 to Kankakee’s 0.
