Friends & Legends is held each year to honor those who lend support and volunteer to aid in the mission of the Valpo Parks Foundation. Awards are the Art & Irene Malasto Legends Award, Legendary Friend Award, and Community Champion Award.

Art & Irene Malasto Legends Award

Presented to give recognition and appreciation of extraordinary support on a consistent basis over time through volunteer service, leadership, and/or gifts of financial support.

Tim Warner
Legendary Friend Award

Presented to recognize the support and/or promotion of the Valpo Parks system in a significant way through donating time, talent, and/or treasure.

Matt Evans
Community Champion Award

Serves to honor a community member who significantly supports Valpo Parks through their volunteerism, leadership, and philanthropy.
