Notre Dame Announces 2025 Football Schedule

Notre Dame Football has unveiled its 2025 regular-season schedule, featuring a competitive slate that spans the nation. The Fighting Irish will kick off the season on Sunday, Aug. 31, with a prime-time showdown against Miami at Hard Rock Stadium, before closing out the campaign on Nov. 29 at Stanford.

The schedule includes matchups against teams from the SEC, Big Ten, and ACC, along with a clash against 2024 College Football Playoff participant Boise State. Notre Dame will also compete for five rivalry trophies throughout the season, facing Purdue (Shillelagh Trophy), USC (Jeweled Shillelagh), Boston College (Frank Leahy Memorial Bowl), Navy (Naval Academy Trophy), and Stanford (Legends Trophy).

Notably, the Irish will open the season on the road for the fifth consecutive year, the longest streak in program history. Additionally, two first-time opponents—Arkansas and Boise State—will make their debuts on Notre Dame's schedule.
