Valparaiso Triathlon Volunteers Needed

The most fun you’ll ever have volunteering!

Saturday, July 11, 2009 - approximately 6am-11am Rogers–Lakewood Park in beautiful Valparaiso, Indiana. Assisting with the Valpo Triathlon which is a distance of a ¼ mile swim, 12.4 mile bike, 3.2 mile run.

Opportunities include:

• Helping set up the day before and morning of the race.
• Security for the bicycle transition area at the park.
• Body marking, morning of race.
• Monitoring a street corner on the bike course.
• Monitoring a street corner on the run course.
• Handing athletes water on the run course.
• Handing athletes water bottles at the finish line.
• Taking athletes’ numbers at the finish line.
• Food set-up and clean-up.
• Parking.
• Distributing food after race.
