The month of August means back to school, which is exactly what Lake Central (LC) High School has been getting ready for. Freshman rush for the Class of 2027 took place on August 9. Upperclassmen at LC volunteered at the high school, leading incoming freshmen through the building. Freshman rush helps the incoming class become familiar with the high school routine and adjust from their recent middle school years.
Coming up for LC, the fall sports teams have been working hard all summer to prepare for their seasons starting this week. The athletes are always looking for support from members of the community.
