7 Michigan City High School Students Win Awards in the VFW Voice of Democracy Patriotic Audio Essay Competition

VFWwinners2013Seven Michigan City High School sophomores received awards in the District 2012-13 Voice of Democracy Patriotic Audio Essay competition, which is sponsored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Students were required to submit a five-minute audio essay addressing the topic, "Is our Constitution still relevant?" Winners at the District level received letters of commendation and $25 (honorable mention) or $50 (top finishers) from the Michigan City VFW Post 2536.
