Through June 30, the Recycling and Waste Reduction District of Porter County is offering $10 off exhibitor registration for the 2014 Earth Day Celebration, scheduled for April 19.
Prospective exhibitors can register online to participate at www.ItMeansTheWorld.org.
Exhibitors sought include organizations and businesses throughout Northwest Indiana and beyond that can provide environmental awareness, services and products to attendees and inspire visitors to become more environmentally-conscious.
The largest free public environmental event in Northwest Indiana, the Earth Day Celebration draws visitors who are concerned about the environment and interested in learning more about how they can reduce their impact on the planet.
Last year, the event filled three buildings at the Porter County Expo in Valparaiso and drew more than 3,200 people. Early registrants will enjoy the maximum advertising benefits of the event.
“Every year, our goal is to make this event better and attract more people who can take away something that they have learned to help the environment,” said Therese Davis, executive director of the district.
The district also seeks Earth Day event co-sponsors. For more information, call Donna, 219-465-3819.
