Meet our new Life Care Leaders 2023 – 2nd edition

At Life Care Centers of America, we know that great leaders can help people do great things. And that’s why we are proud of the administrators we have chosen to lead our facility care teams.

Below are a few Executive Directors who have recently joined the Life Care family to lead, inspire and change lives!

Moseline Faustin at Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley

Moseline has a bachelor’s degree in health care administration from Southern New Hampshire University and has worked as a licensed nursing home administrator since April 2022. She began her new role on May 22.

“I love being an administrator,” Moseline said about her job. “I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my residents and building up a strong team that feels supported in the work they do each day.”

Moseline is excited to get to know the Merrimack Valley team and to set new goals for our center.

“My experience so far with Life Care Center of Merrimack Valley has been refreshing, and I feel excited to be part of a team that seems to have the same vision as I do,” Moseline said. “My vision is to continue to provide the best overall quality of patient care, but at the same time, to maintain a positive work environment in which everyone feels a part.”

Cody Brayton at Life Care Center of Pensacola

Cody has a master’s degree in health services administration and is a licensed nursing home administrator. He served as executive director of Life Care Center at Inverrary in Lauderhill and also at Darcy Hall of Life Care in West Palm Beach, Florida, before transferring to the Pensacola facility on May 15.

“I was immediately met with the famous southern hospitality associated with this region,” Brayton said about his experience with the Pensacola team so far. “I’m inheriting an amazing group of professionals.”

Originally from the Florida Panhandle, Brayton is excited to be returning home after spending nine years away. His love for the geriatric population and desire to lead nursing homes runs deep, having started in high school, and has only grown over the years.

“I have loved working as a nursing home administrator since the day I stepped in the role,” Brayton said. “I value the impact we have the ability to make on residents, families and community members and wouldn’t trade it for anything else in the world.”

Mark Schulte at Life Care Center of Andover

Mark has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management and almost 20 years of experience working in senior care. He began leading our team on May 1.

“I am happy to be part of this team,” Mark said. “I enjoy this work because I believe that the most important measure of any civilization is how that civilization treats its most vulnerable members. The work we do here is purposeful and brings comfort to vulnerable people.”

Mark said everyone has been very welcoming and helpful, and he has enjoyed observing many instances of “excellent” engagement between associates and residents. His goal is to increase these instances and create an environment where everyone feels loved, valued and at peace.

When he’s not at work, Mark enjoys playing music, raising cattle and spending time with his family.

Kaylynn Fransua at University Park Care Center

Kaylynn has a bachelor’s degree from New Mexico State University. She has worked in long-term care for 10 years and has been a licensed nursing home administrator since 2017.

“Although I have only been at University Park Care Center a short time, I have seen the most caring staff and happy residents,” Kaylynn said.

Kaylynn’s goals are to provide care that goes “above and beyond” expectations and to cultivate a healthy working environment for associates. She said she loves seeing the impact that quality care can have.

“Seeing the results of compassion, honesty and integrity is why I love doing what I do,” Kaylynn said. “It is an honor serving the elders of this community and surrounding communities and ensuring we are doing whatever it takes and then some to provide excellent and person-centered care.”

Sarah Mennen at Life Care Center of Winter Haven

Sarah has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and previously worked as director of social services at Life Care Center of Melbourne. Starting in December 2022, she served our Winter Haven center as assistant executive director until she was promoted on April 27.

“My passion for what I do runs deep,” Sarah said about her job. “I strive to provide a comforting place for each person that comes through our doors. Seeing my residents, patients and their families at peace and comforted with the care they receive is such a rewarding feeling.”

Sarah said her goals are to build on the excellent services our center already provides and to work collaboratively with each team member. She also expressed her gratitude for our Winter Haven staff.

“Everyone has done such a wonderful job of welcoming me on board,” Sarah said. “I’m so grateful to work alongside associates who are so positive, compassionate and hardworking.”

When she’s not at work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and trying new restaurants.

Donna Okinaka at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center

Donna has over 12 years of experience working in health care, and in 2018, she earned her nursing home administrator license. Before coming to Hale Anuenue, she was assistant administrator for Hilo Medical Center Extended Care.

“The team here has been great in welcoming me to the facility,” Donna said about the Hale Anuenue staff.

Donna enjoys spending time with the facility’s associates, residents and families. She considers each resident to be a part of her family, and she genuinely loves her job: “Being in health care is truly a passion of mine.”

Donna’s goals are to continue to build relationships within the facility and to provide quality care while improving census and revenue.
