The 2011-12 Directory and Community Profile will be available to our members and the community by July 10th. The Portage Chamber of Commerce Directory continues to be the finest membership directory published in Northwest Indiana. Our Community Profile continues to be the number one publication put out in our city showcasing 24 pages of updated information on an annual basis as it relates to our city, parks, schools, county, and of course our Chamber.
The cost of designing these two pieces along with the printing of 400 directories and 10,000 community profiles is substantial, but the recognition the Chamber receives is most beneficial. A large portion of the support for this project comes from city, park, and school assistance.
The Chamber Membership through ads bought which show up in the directory allows this project to continue annually, and also offers financial support to our Chamber operational costs. Along with the ads showing up in the directory, every business with an ad is listed in every directory and community profile, and their business is highlighted in the alphabetical and categorical lists in the directory.
I have enclosed an application form in this mailbag, and ask you to consider an ad in this upcoming publication. The ads for the 5 covers are sold, but there are opportunities for a full, half quarter, or eighth page ad. Thank you for considering support for this project.
