Aylesworth Elementary
Justine McKee's first grade class was the winner of the Aylesworth Water Fight fundraiser sponsored by the Kindness Club for Team World Vision. We raised over $700! All the proceeds will go towards the clean water project in Africa. The kids in Mrs. McKee's class received an ice cream party earlier this week! We are so proud of all of our kids, they did an amazing job!

Central Elementary
On September 30th Central Elementary in participated in the annual 4th and 5th grade cross country meet held at Woodland Park. Pictured are the forty-one boys and girls that took part in this event. Everyone had a great time and did awesome at running.

Jones Elementary
Allison Anderson from the Porter County Recycle Service visited to talk with the Kindergartens at Jones Elementary about worms! She talked to the children about Wonderful Worms and how important they are in composting. The children had the opportunity to look at worms up close using a magnifying glass.

Kyle Elementary
Students from Mrs. Marquart's 4th gr. class were motivated to get their AR Goal quickly! Pictured are: Devyn Miller, Braydon Wallace, Ja'Twon Henderson, Kaity Puplava and Braydon Golubovich.

Myers Elementary
Myers Elementary students are coming together to play a school wide game of BOXTOPOLY. Classes participate by bringing in box tops as their mean of money. When a class has brought in 100 box tops they may begin playing the game. Every day they come to Physical Education class, they get to roll the die and move their game piece. They can buy property, pay rent/fines, or “go to the office”. When all of the property is bought, the class with the most value in property along with the most money in their box top bank account will win! Students are having a great time competing with fellow classes and helping their school earn money, all while learning some financial life skills!
