Tec Air Inc., a 50-year-old Illinois Corporation is moving its entire manufacturing operations from its current location in Willow Springs, Illinois to Munster, Indiana and are ready to hire individuals who are prepared to start work by the end of September. Tec Air has created approximately 150 immediate jobs in Indiana and their anticipated growth will increase their full time employment to more than 250 jobs over the next several years. Tec Air designs and manufactures plastic injection molded air movement components and systems that are shipped globally. They are an industry leader in multi-material molding, insert molding, assembly, and testing.
“We are excited about our commitment to the Town of Munster and we look forward to providing employment opportunities to many people in Northwest Indiana,” stated Tec Air President, Bob McMurtry. To help with finding those workers, Tec Air has collaborated with WorkOne Northwest Indiana for assistance in the recruitment and screening of potential candidates. “Providing TecAir with a solid pool of qualified candidates will be of the utmost importance as we begin the recruitment and screening process,” said Allison Bertl, Business Service Manager for WorkOne Northwest Indiana.
