Meet the #1StudentNWI High School Insiders in Northwest Indiana
We have a lot to be proud of here at Ideas in Motion Media - but the kids in this video are something we want everyone in the Region to know about. The #1StudentNWI program selects high school students from around Northwest Indiana to report on what's happening at their schools, and let them have an experience they can't get anywhere else. Visit "A Christmas Story" Comes Home at the Indiana Welcome Center
Everyone from the region knows about "A Christmas Story" and what it means to the families who grew up in Northwest Indiana, and the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority loves it just as much as you do. For the past eight years the SSCVA has been showcasing their exhibit for the holidays - seven "A Christmas Story" shop windows that originally were showcased at Macy's. We recently talked to the SSCVA CEO about the exhibit, why people are so attached to the movie, and why he loves putting the windows up each year.
Food Bank of Northwest Indiana Helps Feed Those In Need
For almost a decade the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana and the Northwest Indiana McDonalds have been helping those in need - with a program they call 'Pantry on the Go'. Every Wednesday at a certain location in the region the organization give away free food for those who need it. We recently caught up with Food Bank of NWI and McDonalds at one of their Portage locations to talk about Pantry on the Go, how it helps their community, where you can find information, and their dedicated volunteers.

The Lady Lifers Take On #DearMe
The Lady Lifers decided to participate in the #DearMe movement, which asks women of all ages to give advice to their younger selves. Every woman has a learning experience through their teenage years on how to find themselves, and our Lifers were no different.
