Why the Y is important to us: We feel confident sending our daughter to the Y for the part or her day she is not in kindergarten. It is a healthy and safe environment, not to mention a very enjoyable one for a five year old. She loves her teachers, they do a great job of motivating her. They have a full class, yet have the ability to make my child feel special, she loves them! Each day they do activities to reinforce what she is learning in kindergarten. It is another way to connect and build social skills in a positive environment. It is also very convenient for the working family.
I asked my daughter what she likes about the Y and she said she loves her teachers, she loves "get-up warm-up", and she loves playing. I love that she is active everyday, learning everyday, and feels safe and confident there.
