Donaldson Dash

The Donaldson Dash is a new, challenging, adventure foot race. The race is divided into two separate courses: Challenge and Family. For the Challenge Course, teams of up to five people set out on a race around the 1,000+ acres at The Center at Donaldson. Teams will work their way through activity stations to earn “stamps” in their “passport.” The first team to complete their passport wins the grand prize of $1,000! The Family Course has teams of up to five people and set out on a smaller-scale course with a limited number of activity stations. There will be gift cards and other prizes hidden throughout the course. The Donaldson Dash Village is fun for the whole family, whether you are racing or not. The Village is the place to be for food trucks, vendors, music pumping from a DJ, and family activities. An at-will entrance fee is appreciated, but not required. Why Support This Great Event? For over 150 years, the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ have been present in America, particularly towns and cities in Indiana. Guided by their foundress, Saint Katharina Kasper, the Poor Handmaids continue the tradition of meeting the neighborhood needs of the people they were called to serve. In the early 1920s the Motherhouse in America moved from Fort Wayne, Indiana to Donaldson, Indiana. Since the beginning of the 20th century, the Poor Handmaids in the United States moved, opened, and closed many missions. They continue to minister in health care, education, and childcare, as well as retreat, parish, pastoral, and social work. All proceeds from this race will go towards the greatest needs of the Poor Handmaid ministries.
