NWI SBDC QuickBooks Series Spotlights Basics

nwi-sbdcDue to demand, the Northwest ISBDC is again partnering with Anna Sheets of Accounting Made Simple to offer a two-part event on QuickBooks essentials. The workshops are from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays Oct. 18 and 25 at the Purdue University North Central Graduate Building, 600 Vale Park Road, in Room 20.

The workshops for new users will outline core bookkeeping functions including: accounting primer, getting started, navigating QuickBooks, managing lists, working with bank accounts, recording sales, receiving payments, making deposits and entering and paying bills. Participants receive class materials and instructor follow-up as well as a certificate of completion.

Serving seven counties in the region, the NW-ISBDC offers no-cost assistance for entrepreneurs starting or expanding their businesses.
